After months of leaks and teasers, Motorola finally lifted the covers off its latest Razr smartphone this August. Although the company hasn't launched the Razr 2022 in international markets so far, it has reportedly started prepping its next iteration. Interestingly, a new leak reveals that the company will launch two Razr-branded foldables next year, giving buyers even more choices in the compact foldable segment.

HTC reportedly has entered the final stage of negotiation with Google for selling its smartphone business unit to the Internet service operator, according [to] a Chinese-language Commercial Times report.

Motorola is reportedly working on its first pop-up selfie camera phone. The new smartphone dubbed 'Motorola One Hyper' has already been leaked multiple times hinting at its imminent launch. A new leak now reveals the purported design of the upcoming Motorola smartphone.

But how firm is Samsung's grip on foldable phones? While we're still waiting to see if the revamped Motorola Razr 2022 makes it to the U.S., other phone makers are reportedly working on foldable devices of their own. The question is whether any of them will surface this year to challenge Samsung's Galaxy Z lineup.

There are other things changing dramatically on the next Razr foldable too. Instead of a boat-shaped notch, Motorola is now going for a more modern hole-punch look, although the top bezels look a bit thick. On the other hand, the camera sensor is reportedly getting a significant upgrade. The company is ditching the 20-megapixel primary camera on the current Razr foldable in favor of a 30-megapixel selfie snapper on the upcoming version. And if the existing crop of phones with a 32-megapixel selfie or rear cameras is anything to go by, it will perform 4-in-1 pixel binning to deliver 8-megapixel photos. However, there should be a manual option to click full-res 32-megapixel selfies, too.

Except for the United States, Nothing introduced the phone (1) in various countries. They include competitive markets such as Europe and India. In the latter market, the mid-range sector has a wide choice of smartphones from brands like Samsung, Motorola, Google, and Xiaomi, to mention a few. Nothing stepped into this segment with its never-before-seen innovative design and reportedly sold 100k units in 20 days from launch.
